WACEP partners with the Wisconsin Dental Pain Protocol to provide WACEP Members and Emergency Departments with resources and training on the treatment of non-traumatic dental pain. 

The Mission of the WDPP:

• Get ED's statewide on the same page re: treatment of non-traumatic dental pain.
• Reduce opioid prescriptions for NTDP
• Prevent ED overuse and unnecessary bouncebacks for NTDP
• Create infrastructure and processes to get patients prompt, affordable dentist follow-up for NDTP
