WACEP Membership


Thanks for your interest in joining the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. WACEP works to support and protect emergency physicians through:

  • Networking and educational opportunities
  • Advocacy in state government on issues affecting the delivery of emergency medicine
  • Information to ensure emergency physicians are informed about issues affecting their profession

WACEP is a charted chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. In order to be a member of WACEP, concurrent membership in ACEP is required. Membership Categories

Regular Membership

Chapter membership is required. Members must choose a chapter based on the location of their practice or residence. Members employed by the military or other government services are urged to join the Government Services Chapter.

Annual dues ACEP Dues: $675 / Annual WACEP Dues: $320


Graduating Emergency Medicine Residents

If you have completed your emergency medicine residency within the last three years, ACEP offers the following dues structure:
(ACEP/WACEP)

  • First year following graduation $154 / $160
  • Second year following graduation $308 / $320
  • Third year following graduation $461 / $320
  • Fourth year following graduation $675 (full dues) /  $320


Residents/Students/Fellows
Available to:

  • Medical Students
  • Interns
  • Physicians participating in an ACGME accredited emergency medicine residency program
  • Physicians participating in an ACGME accredited fellowship program
  • Physicians in the uniformed services, while serving as general medical officers
