Advocacy

A major strategic goal of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians is to advocate on behalf of emergency physicians, the patients we serve, and our profession as a whole. Engagement in the legislative and governmental affairs process significantly impacts outcomes for protecting these interests. Hundreds of laws are introduced each legislative session, and regulatory agencies ensure the resulting rules are followed in practice. It is vital that WACEP members make our voices heard.
