ACEP Leadership & Advocacy Conference (LAC)

The 2018 Leadership & Advocacy Conference (LAC) will celebrate emergency medicine’s accomplishments and continue to work for a better political environment for our specialty and our patients. The LAC continues to get bigger and better and each year we send a stronger message to the United States Congress. We’ll train first-timers to educate your Members of Congress while seasoned participants will build upon your already-valuable Congressional connections.

Our goal at this Conference is to highlight and advocate for legislation advancing emergency care, regardless of party labels. Join emergency medicine leaders from around the country for ACEP’s Leadership & Advocacy Conference.

• Essential Groundwork – First time attending the conference? Looking for a refresher on the basics of health policy? Lay the foundation for the rest of the week.
• A Deeper Policy Dive – Engage in detailed discussions on key issues affecting emergency medicine to get a better understanding of the current health care landscape and EM's role.
  

ACEP will schedule your Capitol Hill visits with key legislators and staff through Soapbox Consulting, LLC. You will NOT need to contact your legislator's office directly for an appointment.
